Swamped by end of the year teacher’s gifts. I always make something myself and usually wish I wasn’t “crafty”…LOL!

I REALLY wish I had called/e-mailed you last week when I was racking my brain for a retirement gift for Randa’s teacher. She has been an awesome influence for Randa this school year, and she is retiring after 30+ years teaching 2nd grade.
We did finally get her a gift (A small angel wall hanging with a saying about teachers being angels.) and a really simple, but heartfelt and pretty card.
I am also helping another mom make up a slideshow and contributed to a scrapbook she’s doing….but I kinda wish that Randa and I had done something a little more ‘personal’ for her. I’m just not crafty like that, unless you give me yarn and a hook…..and by the time I found out that she was retiring this year it would have been pushing it to try to make her a blanket. :-( I would have needed at least a month to make her blanket, because I am also working on several other projects for other people.
I miss you sister!!
Love,
-Paula
