the blahs

Why is the first week that Bryan is gone, always so rough?! It never fails, I am a teary-eyed, emotionally unstable brat. Jacey acts up. Times slows to a crawl.

*sigh*

After the first week to ten days, I am better until about halfway and then I go through another week of the blahs. I told myself before he left that this is what always happens and I was going to combat it and not let it this time.

Ha…we see THAT happening…

I hate being the one left behind. I travel a lot with work but on the rare occasions I’m the one staying at home I hate it, unless I’m on my own (no kids) then it’s bliss for a while. You’re doing so well. Congratulations. Your daughter is sooooooooo cute!

I know what you mean. Mine is gone a lot too and it always seems like that is when the kids and I don’t sleep well and I am tired and everything goes wrong.

Sending BIG HUGS and hope that the rest of the time goes quickly!!

I know what you mean as well. Dayv leaves in January for 4 months and I cannot imagine it. Thank the Lord he’s been home {barring TDY’s} a full year from deployment. I am okay with him going, but it is hard for us to get into a routine and me be okay. For me it’s the end that is torture because I know he’ll be home soon.

Keep your chin up girl! I am praying for you.

Thanks Elizabeth! I think we are finally getting the routine down, yesterday and today were better :-)

    @ Melanie:

    Thanks!

We’ve been very blessed, for being a military guy, he really hasn’t had to leave all that much. I guess that is one of the perks of his job and the Air Force. If he was Army, he’d likely never be home!
