December 29, 2006Grateful Friday
December 29, 20061. I had a MUCH better day today than yesterday.
2. Jacey had a blast ice skating today and we actually managed to make it over there right when they opened so it wasn’t too crowded.
3. A loving, helpful husband.
4. New school shoes for Jacey for only $7.99 (she goes through a pair every month to month and a half and I can’t stomach paying more than $20 for something that is going to practically immediately get torn up).
5. My faith!

Thirteen things that are getting on my nerves today…
1. Jacey’s non-stop talking
2. my extreme lack of motivation
3. the house still isn’t up to my specs (due to my lack of motivation)
4. inconsiderate bowlers and their inconsiderate children
5. Jacey’s recent bout with lying (over STUPID stuff)
6. slow drivers
7. my loud neighbors
8. miscommunication at work
9. my messy desk (again due to my lack of motivation)
10. my recent eating habits
11. Jacey’s defiance towards Bryan
12. my insomnia has set in again
13. did I mention my lack of motivation…LOL!
Can you tell it has been a rough day?!?
Project 365: Day 7
December 28, 2006Christmas is…
December 27, 2006officially over!
The tree is down and the house is *mostly* back to normal. I still need to go through Jacey’s room and clear out some older toys to make room for the new, but that will have to wait.
Jacey loaded up even though, we were going light this year. She was quite happy with everything she got though and has spent the last 2 days playing non-stop with all her new stuff. When asked what her favorite present was, she responds with “all of them”…smart girl=-).
After presents in the morning, we had brunch (eggs benedict) and then cleaned up a bit of the mess. We then all sat down and watched Rudolph together and then started dinner. We ended up with ham, sweet potato casserole, dressing, broccoli rice casserole, rolls, lots of cranberry sauce, chocolate pecan pie and Happy Birthday Jesus cake. With there only being 3 of us, to say there was lots of food leftover, would be an understatement…LOL!
Bryan and Jacey then had to finish off the night with eggnog and nutmeg…..blech =-).
