So we got back Monday evening and I am just now getting around to writing this…..oy, life…LOL!

We left bright and early Thursday morning and made pretty good time, right at 10 hours. Spent the evening hanging around the in-laws and just visiting.

Friday morning, I headed up to pick up some friends at DFW airport and then on up to our retreat in Denison. The bed and breakfast was really quaint and nice and we had an awesome weekend. Friday, we scrapped and talked, Saturday, we scrapped talked, went on a semi photo shoot and to Wal-Mart and Sunday was some more talking till we all had to head out. It was so nice to have a bit of time away from the stresses of normal life and be waited on hand and foot. We are already planning for next year’s although I am voting for twice a year:-).

Bryan and Jacey had a good weekend as well visiting with family. It was Bryan’s Dad’s 50th birthday on Monday, so all the kids were there for the weekend. Jacey had a great time playing with her cousin Alexa and going to Monsters Inc On Ice with Mimi and Papa. It’s a special treat for her to get to spent one on one time with them since we don’t see them very often.
